How to Add a Picture

This week we are going to add pictures to the blog, as well as writing!
To add a picture:

1. Sign in to blogger as usual.
2. Start a New Post
3. Click on the tiny picture of a picture above the box where you usually write your post
4. In the new window that appears, click on "Browse", and find the file where the picture you want is saved.
5. When you have chosen your picture, click on the blue "upload image" button.
6. Wait for your picture to be uploaded, then click "Done"
7. Remember to click on the orange "Publish Post" when you have finished uploading your picture and typing your entry!

Newton's Class blog

Hi Guys! Welcome to week 2 at Lines!

Today's ideas

Today, you should choose one of these ideas to write a blog post about. Write about:

• what you did on the excursion yesterday?
• an interesting thing that has happened to you.
• the story that your partner told you before this class.
• this morning's lessons.
• last night's disco!

Remember, if you have any interesting photos from the excursion or anything else, we can put them on this webpage! Tell me if you want to put your favourite photo here!

Our first computer class

Yesterday's class in the computer room was very good! Everyone in the class wrote something here, and many students sent the address to their families. Here are some photos of the class! We will all write more on the blog tomorrow.

How to use this Blog

This Blog is a place for everyone in the class to write anything they like (in English, of course!). You don't have to worry if the language isn't perfect - we just want to be able to understand. If anyone doesn't understand anything that someone else has written, click on "comments" below, and ask! You can write as much and as often as you like, about anything you like! Here are some ideas:

• classes
• excursions
• activities
• Things you like here
• Things you don't like
• Things you want to do this week
• Anything else you want to write.

Sometimes I will also write some questions that you can answer, if you want to.

We can also put photos on our Blog! If you have a nice digital photo that you want to put here, ask Kat and she will help you post it.

You can give your friends and family at home the address, and they can look on the internet to see what our class are doing every day. If your friends and family have email addresses, try sending them an email now with the address! Ask Kat if you need help with this.

How to write a blog post.

1. Look at the top of this page for the orange square with a 'B' in it, and click on it. This is a link to the Blogger homepage.
   
2. You need to sign in. Use the username and password that Kat gives you. Remember to keep it secret!
   
3. When you sign in, you'll see the Dashboard. Click on the green cross that says "New Post"
   
4. Write the name of your post in the box next to "Title", and then write what you want in the big box underneath.
   
5. When you have finished, click "Publish Post" so that everyone can see what you have written!
   

After you have published, it should say "Blog Post Published Successfully!". You can click on "View Blog" at the top of the page to see it!
